As we approach our 10th Birthday it’s good to report that we are growing and helping many disadvantaged people.
The LEOT School is our largest activity and teaches English and Computer Studies to 220 students from poor families.
Our Scholarship programme started in 2006 and has helped over 70 students achieve their dream of further education in Laos colleges or universities. Most become teachers; we also number a dentist and an air traffic controller in our graduates. We now aim to help at least 20 students each year.
We are now reaching out through Community Support with projects to support small village community schools providing clean water, electricity, clothing and improvements to buildings.
We plan that with your help in the coming year to fund and open a vocational workshop to train young people with limited education to become bike mechanics and seamstresses.
