Building a Brighter Future, One Classroom at a Time
Since its beginning, LEOT has proudly supported local communities by providing clean water and maintaining school facilities. In the summer of 2017, the Provincial Director of Education reached out to us with an urgent request: a remote village perched above a new dam had no school.
Could we help build one quickly? This marked our very first major project and ignited a lifelong commitment to education.
School building has now become one of our primary programs. As of July 2025, we have completed our 25th school building, each one serving children in some of the most challenging, rural, and often hard-to-reach villages.
One recent example was in Kewkacham Village, located at the top of a small mountain. Because roads there become impassable during the monsoon season, the project, led by project manager Bounniew and his dedicated builder team, had to be done during the dry months. They successfully completed five new classrooms and toilets, which are already in use by the local students.
Our latest achievement was at Khoi School — one of our largest projects so far. Due to a higher student population, we built bigger classrooms to accommodate everyone comfortably. This site was easier to access, allowing us to finish construction before the summer rains arrived.
Looking ahead, Project 26 is set to begin in September, returning to the countryside to deliver yet another vital facility.
Thanks to generous supporters and tireless local teams, LEOT continues to turn dreams of education into reality, one school at a time.
